How do I find a qualified and trustworthy worker?
All Associates on the Boame app go through a rigorous vetting process which includes criminal background checks to ensure that they are qualified and trustworthy. They are required to provide proof of their residence, qualifications and experience, and their background is checked before they are approved to offer their services through the app.
How soon will my Service request be answered ?
Typically once there is a request through the Boame app, our customer service team will get in touch with you via telephone to confirm the request and discuss any other details regarding your service request. Service team should arrive at your premises within 3 hrs after request is confirmed through deposit payment.
Is there a guarantee on the work done by the workers on the app?
Yes, the Boame app provides a satisfaction guarantee on all work done by the Associates. If you are not satisfied with the work, you can contact customer support and they will work with you to resolve the issue.
What happens if my items are wrongly installed and damages are caused
The Boame app protects Customers through ensuring all work that is requested through the app is covered by Insurance. Any appliance or fixture that is damaged through our service Associates will be replaced at our own cost once it is established the damage was caused by Boame associate.
How do I pay for the services provided through the app?
Payment is made through the app using a secure payment gateway. You can pay by Momo, credit card, debit card, or other electronic payment methods.
As a female home alone, How Safe am I when random strangers come in to fix things ?
All Boame staff and associates are thoroughly screened and vetted before deployment. We also have professionals who are females and equally capable of handling specific jobs for Customers who would be more comfortable having women work on their projects.
Can I schedule recurring services ?
Yes, you can schedule recurring services with Boame where professionals eg cleaners will be scheduled to come in and clean up on a periodic basis.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule a booking?
You can cancel or reschedule a booking by contacting customer support through the app. Please note that deposits made are not refundable once paid.
How do I communicate with the worker before and during the job?
You can communicate with the worker through the app’s messaging system before and during the job. This allows you to ask questions, provide additional instructions, and get updates on the progress of the work.
How do I leave feedback for the worker and the app?
After the job is complete, you will be prompted to leave feedback for the Boame associate and the app. You will be required to rate the worker on their performance and provide comments on the quality of the work.
